Onboarding Journey & Mentoring Guide

Dear Family — as we continue to walk this ancestral path, this onboarding framework provides a clear process for both new and developing members. It also serves as a mentoring reference for those guiding others.

Foundations of the Journey

We begin with the basics:

  • Setting up a personal ancestral altar or purchasing an ancestral shrine
  • Asking and interpreting simple yes/no divination questions

From there, the path expands into:

  • Building deeper ancestral connection
  • Engaging in healing and elevation practices
  • Learning advanced communication with ancestors and guides
  • Ancestral Manual provides full Level 1 support for lessons and weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly practices

How Training & Support Works Along the Journey

You are supported by a structured development system. You are not expected to figure this out alone.

1. Biweekly Ori · Ẹ̀gún · Ẹgbẹ Classes

  • Ori: clarity, discipline, emotional balance
  • Ẹ̀gún: healing, connection, shadow work
  • Ẹgbẹ: alignment, relationships, support

Result: Your practice stays active, guided, and improving.

2. Monthly Alignment Check-In

  • Review of mental and emotional state
  • Assessment of ancestral alignment
  • Evaluation of relationship and support balance
  • Clear next steps and ritual assignments

Result: You stay on track and avoid misalignment.

Why This Matters for Onboarding

Without structure, most people:

  • Lose consistency in practice
  • Misinterpret signs or divination
  • Lose momentum early

This system provides:

  • Guidance (Classes)
  • Correction (Check-ins)
  • Consistency (Structure)

Relationship Pathways and Role Progression

Not everyone relates to Ancestral Egbe in the same way. Organizational affiliations are partner institutions. Individual people move through a separate relationship path so that service, team function, and initiation are not confused with one another.

  • Organizational affiliations describe partner institutions, not individual spiritual or operational standing.
  • People move through a relationship path: affiliate, then client, then team member and/or initiate depending on the nature of the commitment.
  • Membership tiers such as Silver or Gold sit on top of the relationship path as support containers rather than replacing it.

Stage 1

Affiliate

An affiliate is connected to the Ancestral Egbe network through shared mission, events, referrals, or public education, but is not yet in a formal service or initiation container.

Inheritance: Base level of connection into the ecosystem.

  • Engage with the public teachings, events, and network resources
  • Maintain alignment with the values of reciprocal healing and restoration
  • Use intake or referral pathways when deeper support is needed

Stage 2

Client

A client is receiving a defined service such as divination, healing, coaching, or ritual support. Client status adds active casework, but does not automatically imply organizational role or initiation standing.

Inheritance: Includes affiliate-level connection plus active service engagement.

  • Participate honestly in readings, treatment plans, and assigned follow-through
  • Honor the time, ritual, and diagnostic requirements of the service container
  • Use the service relationship to clarify whether longer-term mentorship is appropriate

Stage 3

Team Member

A team member is a trusted collaborator, practitioner, or staff contributor serving the work of Ancestral Egbe in an operational or specialist capacity.

Inheritance: May also be an affiliate or client, but adds organizational responsibility and representation.

  • Represent the work with maturity, consistency, and professional clarity
  • Coordinate with leadership and other practitioners inside the network
  • Serve a defined function without blurring that role into spiritual lineage status

Stage 4

Initiate or Godchild

An initiate or godchild enters a deeper covenantal relationship involving spiritual formation, lineage obligation, accountability, and long-term development.

Inheritance: Represents the deepest relationship tier and may also overlap with client or team participation.

  • Commit to ongoing discipline, correction, and lineage-based practice
  • Honor spiritual obligations, mentorship, and the ethics of initiation
  • Understand that initiation deepens the path rather than replacing practical service or community accountability

💠 The Silver Membership Path (Recommended)

The Silver Membership combines everything into one continuous system. Instead of paying separately for classes, check-ins, materials, and ongoing guidance, you receive:

  • Biweekly classes (training + recordings)
  • Monthly alignment check-in
  • Structured practice systems (Ori, Ẹ̀gún, Ẹgbẹ)
  • Ongoing spiritual updates and guidance

Result: Continuous development instead of stop-and-start progress.

Membership Tiers Overlay the Path

Membership tiers describe the level of structured support a person receives. They do not replace the underlying relationship path of affiliate, client, team member, or initiate/godchild.

Silver Membership

A structured support container for people who need recurring classes, monthly alignment, and guided practice around Ori, Egun, and Egbe.

Applies to: Can support affiliates, clients, team members, or initiates who need consistent formation.

  • Biweekly classes with recordings
  • Monthly alignment check-ins
  • Structured practice system and ongoing guidance

Gold Membership

A deeper tier for people who require more intensive access, oversight, or advanced formation once the base relationship pathway is already clear.

Applies to: Should inherit from the same relationship path model rather than acting as a separate identity category.

  • Builds on the relationship stage already established
  • Assumes clearer accountability and stronger continuity of guidance
  • Should be positioned as an overlay, not a replacement for affiliate, client, team member, or initiate status

Simple Breakdown

Onboarding = What to do
Classes = How to do it
Check-ins = Are you doing it correctly
Silver Membership = The system that holds it all together

Final Perspective

If you are serious about initiation preparation, ancestral connection, and spiritual growth, this path requires structure, guidance, and consistency. Silver Membership provides that system.
