Our year begins on the Yoruba calendar at beginning of June. It is divine upon the 1st Sunday in June and is celebrated on the 2nd Sunday as Odunde.

Some events are on the lunar calendar and the celebrated date floats from year to year. Current yearly celebration dates are shown in the calendar above.

A modest monthly ancestral offering is recommended on each New Moon.
